Budget session of Tripura assembly ends on a shocking note: CPI-M under its yearlong regime produced 6.92 lakhs unemployed in state till date, and yet CM Manik Sarkar clamours of so-called Golden Era in Tripura

AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): On a shocking note, Tripura assembly budget session on Thursday placed the report of 6.92 lakh unemployed people residing in the state. According to the reports placed on the last day of the budget session on Thursday, it has been mentioned that a total of 6, 92, 436 unemployed youths are there in the state. Besides, altogether over aged 75, 852 people are yet unemployed in the state. It is to be mentioned here that despite Tripura being the third gate way for Internet Bandwidth there is not glimpse of any IT industry. Youths gaining education from outside the state and returns to the state for job left unemployed as they do not have any opportunity. However, there are some who stay outside the state for their earning. Lack of infrastructure, qualitative education and lack of industries in the state has forced the many educated remain unemployed. Besides, some people opt for any other business like driving auto.However, the issue of unemployment has become a serious issue for the common mass.People gain knowledge to earn more money and to employee themselves in a better organization with hefty salary.Lack of industries, vocational and skill development training institutes, and absence of government policies are some of the reasons which lead to growing number of unemployed youths.

It is to be mentioned here that the ruling Government where busy in focusing making the state 100 percent literate, on the very moment they forgets that providing education is not enough for earning money and utilizing the talent the youth need opportunity.

While addressing the crowd, the ministerial authority never gets tired of claiming that the ruling Government always stands besides the poor.

Now, the question arises if the Government is standing besides the poor and needy than why lakhs of youths are yet unemployed.

It is to be mentioned here that if the situation is not looked after soon that the toll of unemployment may raise more high.

On the other hand, due to absence of job opportunities; unemployed youths are involving in unwanted activities which subsequently create law and order problem for the society.

If the unemployment problem is not tackled well then, the unemployed youths will go for negative activities like, drug addiction, suicides, the unrest& disorder. Beside this, also frustration will increase in the society.

Most importantly, the State also lacks any private sector where the youths can try luck to make them employed and to utilize their knowledge.

Tripura is a state, which has no proper industry where people can run their livelihood; neither has it had any proper source of income.

Therefore, the Government job is left as the only way for their survival but here the government is also engaged to depriving the youths.

It is to be mentioned here that where more than 6 lakhs youths are unemployed, the youths who have managed to grab in a Government job are hanging in bridge of law and order.

However, it is to be mentioned here that the budget session of the Tripura Assembly has begun March 18 and continued till April 7.

However, as a part of the security measures, members of legislative assembly, media personnel, audiences and the staffs of assembly have to display the valid pass provided by assembly secretariat to the security personnel in the entrance gate.
