AGARTALA, April 6 (TIWN) : Due to Dharmanagar rail station’s poor condition railway service may not fully start here in Tripura from the Bengali New Year (from April 14), confirmed Railway Official sources.

Source further mentioned that the date has been re-scheduled to April 17, but clouds still prevails about the commencement of BG passenger service fully here in Tripura from April 17 too. 

Reportedly, the over bridge on the platform is not fully set and breaking down from various corners. Moreover, due to pathetic condition of platforms the rail station has turned ‘life-less’.

The platform walls which was collapsed before few days, has yet not been repaired.

It’s to be mentioned here that public of the state is excited to meet the BG passenger service here in Tripura for the first time but due to the several faults in the preliminary CRS inspection report has created panic among the common people.

 

In the last visit to the state Railway safety commissioner Sailesh kumnar Pathak took a detailed note of the BG conversion site and dig out several faults in the process of construction.

 

It is to be mentioned here that during the preliminary investigation, Railway safety commissioner Sailesh Kumnar Pathak expressed displeasure over the construction work of the foot bridge at Agartala Railway Station.

 

Moreover, due to lack of proper observation the working quality has become low especially in Dharmanagar rail station, said multiple sources onsite.

 

Many parts of the Dharmanagar railway station, which were constructed long back ,tracks are suffering from lack of maintenance, and employees, authorities have no concern about the condition.

 

However, working speed went high at Dharmanagar rail station as the deadline is coming closer now.
