AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN) : With the continuous rain, the businessmen are presently at losses due to the lack of customers.
Incesssant rainshower fully damaged the atmosphere of business at Tripura ahead of Bengali New Year.
However, on Tuesday, after the little break from rain people thronged to the market, but again with the cloudy waether and cold wind's continuous threat business again running at a loss, said sources.
Reportedly, in Agartala after continuous the rain since yesterday, shops are opened with customer-less scenery and due to the cloudy weather, no smile prevails on hawkers’ faces.
However, on Tuesday the weather has improved a little bringing little hopes to the people.
The Chaitra Sale had begun in state since last one week. But at the beginning of the business-session, rain has depressed the businessmen here in state, as due to lack of customers they are unable to make profit in this Chaitra-sale.
However, hopefully, the profit margins of sellers will most probably go up at the impermanent market in Sakuntala Road and other leading markets once the weather moves on.
