Students of Veterinary College residing in hostel hold strike for unknown period of time

AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Protesting against the poor condition of the hostel, students of Veterinary College on Tuesday holds strike for unknown period of time at Radhakishore Nagar.

It is to be mentioned here that the student of Veterinary College residing in the Hostel has hold the strike for unknown period of time, protesting over the poor condition of the hostel.

The strike has been manly hold demanding for immediate renovation of the condition of the hostel.

The situation aggravated after several students complained of illness due to unhygienic condition of hostel where students are forced to live in.

All these students from various classes of the college gathered in front of the main building and agitated against the college management.

According to the sources report, the condition of the hostel is so inhuman that the walls have developed cracks.

However, with the monsoon season hits the state water is leaking through the toilets, due to water logging, mosquitoes are breeding on and students complain of illness.

The prolonged pathetic condition of the hostel has lead the student to hold strike.

However, students have tried to take up the issue with authorities, they are simply turning deaf ear to the concerns and doing nothing.

Despite of prolonged many days of complains also the authority has not shown any interest toward the condition of the hostel.
