AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, a vehicle bearing registration number TR05-A-1639 met an accident at Motor stand, Shanitala on Monday morning.
According to reports, the incident took place in the Monday morning. Reportedly, the incident took place due to reckless driving.
Kamal Uddin (26) and Shiraj Miya (25) have been seriously injured in the incident. However, they have been taken to the GBP Hospital.
The incident took place after when the vehicle collided with an electric pole and the vehicle turned upside down.
The vehicle was also carrying goats on it.
However, with moderate shower in the capital the roads has turned swimming pool on Monday which itself has become tough for the vehicle riders to cross.
On the other hand, it has been alleged that the vehicle drivers were driving the vehicle recklessly.
It is to be mentioned here that the cases of reckless driving has been increasing day by day in the state. Despite of several initiatives taken curb down the rampant incidents of accidents in the state, accident cases are rising day by day.
Traffic Department of the state where claims about strict vigilance of the traffic personnel in the every parts of the state, on the other hand, resentment brews among the public over lacklustre attitude of the traffic personnel.
Accidents due to overloaded goods in the vehicles are also on headline. Despite of strict order from the authority the vehicle drivers carry overloaded goods.
Accident cases are going rampant in the state. However, immediate initiatives are important to curve down accidental cases in the state.
