AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN) : On the one hand whereas people are busy in shopping for the upcoming new year, on the other hand price-hike has saddened the customers.

From April 1^st  the price hike has been implemented against many items. In Tripura the sugar price has increased at the most.

However, the things which are selling with increasing price hike are : Air-ticket, Ready-made dresses, mineral water, gold-silver and other jwelleries, Branded dresses, Car, Bills at restaurant.

Among the items against which price has been lessesned are Broad-band, solar lamp, shoes, freeze equipments, pension plan, micro oven.

With the increasing prices of dresses people here are little upset as after the reduction-sale also the price seems higher.

Moreover, Tripura Govt. has announced price hike in sugar which is affecting in various dishes making in Bengali new year as Sweets, Sandesh, Payesh etc.
