AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): On the third day of the Budget Session of Tripura Assembly, Minister-in-Charge of the Finance Department on Wednesday table the report of the comptroller and Auditor General of India on Social, Economic and Revenue sectors for the year 2014-15.
On the other hand, Chief Minister placed a copy of Tripura Lokayukta Consolidated Annual report-2014 along with the explanatory memorandum on action taken by the Government on the recommendations and suggestions made by the Lokayukta in its Annual reports for the year 2014.
Besides, Minister-in-charge of Rural Development Department has placed an annual report of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act in Tripura 2014-15. Besides, Minister-in-Charge of the law, Industries and Commerce placed the report of Yusuf omission of Enquiry, January 2000.
During the session, as a matter of public urgent public importance MLA Gouri Das, Rita Kar (Majumder) and Parimal Debnath raised questioned over the scarcity of LPG in the State. Besides, MLA Samir Deb Sarkar, Tapan Chndra das and Lalit Kumar Debbarma raised the issue about the initiatives taken by the State Government for the development of tele-service
Besides, the acute shortage of petrol and diesel were also discussed during the session.
It is to be mentioned here that the budget session of the Tripura Assembly has begun March 18 and is expected to continue till April 7.
However, as a part of the security measures, members of legislative assembly, media personnel, audiences and the staffs of assembly have to display the valid pass provided by assembly secretariat to the security personnel in the entrance gate.
