Hike in vegetable prices take toll on common mass

AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Where the people are severely hit with the hike in the petrol and diesel, the frequent hike in the cost of the vegetable prices has also become a serious problem for the common mass.

It is to be mentioned here that for prolonged many months the common mass of the State have been facing severe problem due to frequent price.

The price of the commodities is rising in a sky rocketing price. Mostly the middle class and poor families are massively hit with the price hike.

However, the people of lower strata are most severely affected by the rising price which causes severe damage in their monthly budget.

According to the reports, the market price of the bringle is Rs. 50 per Kg where as coriander leaf is touching Rs. 100.

Though the cost of onion has come to budget with Rs. 20 to Rs. 25 per Kg but the price of the other commodities are ring is sky rocketing amount.

Claiming about the massive price hike in the State, a consumer mentioned that the prolonged price hike has left no option rather than to deduct some of the items from their monthly budget.

Or else it becomes hard for the families to run the house budget with limited amount of money.

The increased prices of vegetables have hit the middle-class as well as the poor hard, who have to struggle, to maintain their monthly budget.

Maybe it is not an issue for the elite class people but it is hard for the families of middle class and poor to manage the monthly budget coping up with market, said a consumer.

The price hike has not only forced to deduct our essential commodities from the budget list but also upsets our pocket, added.

Despite of several hue and cry among the common mass regarding the price hike the concern authority is least bothered to look in to the situation.

However, it is worthy to mention that despite of price hike the consumers are somehow managing to buy the items. Besides, the consumers annoyed with the rising price.

It is to be mentioned here that just counting days are left for the Holi festival. It is expected that by that time the prices of the commodities are going to increase more.

It has been prolonged many months that the people are suffering from vegetables price hike. Many poor people had to cut their pockets to meet their need and also had to deduct their budgets.

Despite of several problems it seems like the ruling government is least bothered about the condition of the state.
