AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Though the first day of the budget session was mainly focused on the development of Education and Health Service, it is to be mentioned here that despite of gaining high qualification youth are yet unemployed.

It is to be mentioned here that State Government is urging for more focus of the development of the education system in the State. Despite of gaining more education the youths are remaining unemployed as there are no opportunities in the private sector accept applying any Government job.

Those vacancies are also allegedly mostly grabbed by the near and dear ones of the ruling party.

It has been observed that just after any vacancy published in newspaper, long queue of unemployed youths are observed in front of the concern department.

Day by day unemployment is becoming a serious problem in the state. Lack of industries, private sectors and absence of government policies are some of the reasons which lead to growing number of unemployed youths.

With the lack of opportunities, private sectors where the youth can make themselves employed and busy, many youths are allegedly getting involved in unwanted activities which subsequently create law and order problem for the society.

However, the Government cannot be blamed alone but where the Government is taking initiatives to educate the people on the other hand, it should also think about the rising unemployment after gaining high qualification.

If the unemployment problem is not tackled well then, the unemployed youths will go on adopting illegal activities like drug addiction, suicides, and many others.

However, it has been seen that despite of appointing fresher in the departments, government of Tripura is much more interested to re-appoint the retired persons of their own choice, instead of sending appointment letters to eligible candidates in waiting list for getting job.
