AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): Counting hours left for the Budget Session of Tripura Assembly to begin.Reportedly, the budget session is going to begin on March 18.
With the beginning of the budget session, the time for the Yusuf Commission report to get public is also heading near.
It is to be mentioned here that he five-day long budget session is expected to continue till April 7. According to report, on the first day of the budget session the budget for the financial year 2016-2017 will be placed.
Besides, the Yusuf Commission report is expected to be public on the last day of the budget session.
It is to be mentioned here that the Budget will be placed even before routine question hours. During the budget session, the much awaited case of Yusuf Commission report is expected to be public.
However, to investigate the assassination of the then Health Minister Bimal Sinha and his brother Bidyut Sinha by NLFT militants the Yusuf Commission was constituted way back in 1998 at Abhanga in Dhalai district’s Kamalpur subdivision.
Earlier, despite of several demands also the Government did not published the report. Finally after mush wait the commission is going to public the report of the conclusion day of the Budget Session.
On the other hand, as ailing Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha is now in Delhi for necessary medical test at AIIMS, Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty is expected to table the budget session for the financial year 2016-2017.
However, as a part of the security measures, members of legislative assembly, media personnel, audiences and the staffs of assembly have to display the valid pass provided by assembly secretariat to the security personnel in the entrance gate.
