AGARTALA / KOLKATA, March 14 (TIWN): Being furious over the ongoing power hungry ' friendly alliance ' between Congress and CPI-M West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is all set to give a shock treatment to CPI-M party's 'Mr White ' Manik Sarkar & Co , sources very close to TMC supremo informed TIWN. The sources also revealed that soon after the completion of West Bengal assembly poll Mamata Banerjee will come to Tripura and address a mass gathering , where thousands of Congress workers and the majority of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committees' top leaders, seven MLAs will officially join Trinamool Congress with an aim to remove Manik Sarkar & Co from power. Mamata Banerjee is very much angry against Congress due to their ' immoral' alliance with the CPI-M and she is very keen to take revenge on both these parties in Tripura especially during the 2018 Assembly poll.

It is to be mentioned here that towards the end of February a three member TPCC leadership led by Leader of Opposition Sudip Roy Barman went to Kolktata and had a meeting with TMC MP Mukul Roy, who is in charge of TMC's organizational system, and in this meeting Mukul Roy asked the TPCC leaders to wait for the time being as all the leaders including party supremo Mamata Banerjee are now busy in West Bengal poll campaign.

At this time it won't be possible for Mamata to come to Tripura over the much hyped Congress split. But Mukul Roy is learnt to have assured the TPCC rebel group that by mid-June Mamata will come to Tripura and address a mass gathering at Agartala , where most of TPCCs current leadership will join hands with TMC.

The rebel TPCC group is also learnt to have submitted copies of the details relating to different scams , corruption , reports of violence against women and the details of torture and exploitation imposed by the CPI-M party cadres upon the opposition party workers and supporters. And Mukul Roy too handed over these to Mamata Banerjee.

Accordingly, Mamata Banerjee asked the TPCC rebel group to wait with patience . Soon after the marger of rebel leaders and most of the Congress party workers with TMC, the party will start vigorous campaign against this scam tainted Manik Sarkar's gov't. Mamata Banerjee's close aid Mukul Roy gave  guidelines to the TPCC leadership on what issues agitations should be targeted. It is learnt that TMC supremo has given green signal to start movement against PM Modi's seemingly soft attitude towards the Left Gov't in Tripura. Very soon TMC will be seen to rock the state with following issues :-

1) CBI enquiry in Chit fund scams like Saradha, Rose Valley

2) CBI enquiry over the multi-crore scams in different blocks in different centrally sponsored schemes like MGNREGA, PMGSY, NRHM etc

3) Centre's intervention over the intentionally created deprivation of the ruling party imposed upon the salaries of the state gov't employees, who are having the lowest pay structure in the country

4) Regularization of all SSA and RMSA employees

5) Assurance of continuation of services upto 60 years for those employees working in fixed-pay or contractual jobs.

6) Misappropriation of funds in various developmental schemes

7) Illegal diversion of centrally sponsored funds to boost ruling party's bank account

Mukul Roy also asked the rebel TPCC leaders to raise agitation against the Centre because of its soft corner towards the state gov't in spite of ao many corruptions being exposed through CAG reports and internal audit reports of almost all the blocks.

It is no surprise that Tripura has gained a good name as a hunting ground for the ruling party supported criminals. As such rapes, murders, brutal torture on womanhood are now an everyday occurrence. Tripura Woman Commission too seems have become a mute spectator.

Even most of the police stations have practically turned into CPI-M's party offices as police officials refuse to register FIR against those criminals who are close to ruling party. All these issues will again come into the spot light once TMC regroups in the state with the marger of the bulk of Congress workers with TMC.

And considering the hardcore attitude of Mamata Banerjee against CPI-M the opposition party supporters can at least hope that very soon there will be strong movement against Manik regime in the truest sense of the term. Moreover, Modi Gov't came hard on TMC Gov't in chit fund issues in West Bengal and big fishes like Minister Madan Mitra , MP Kunal Ghosh are now behind the bars. But the same Modi Gov't is seen to bear with the CPI-M Gov't in Tripura over Chit fund issues . Mamata and her party will definitely come out hard on the double standard of Centre on the same issue.

Mamata is also angry with the Congress party because of the so called 'friendly war' with CPI-M as she claims that Congress has forgotten the very truth that more than 55000 opposition leaders and workers were killed during the 34 years long CPI-M regime.

Among the 55000 people majority belonged to Congress as Mamata established Trinamool Congress only in 1993.

So, Mamata will leave no stone unturned to teach a good lesson to the Congress in Tripura too.

As per political analysts, Mamata Banerjee is expected to win by landslide in upcoming Bengal assembly polls.
