KAMALPUR, March 13 (TIWN): The much hyped and trumpeted political coalition between Congress and the arch-rival CPI-M at West Bengal regarding the ensuing Assembly Poll there, hit the Congress supporters and workers here in this sub-division along with the other parts of the state. Due to the lack of Unity among the Congress leaders here and the secret mutual-love between top leaders of the CPI-M & Cong, the rest of the supporters and the workers including some leaders have become so bewildered that, they till now can't accept that the coalition in West Bengal to be a reality. In this context, sources said that they might leave the party in huge numbers and join TMC. And though the District Congress President Manoj kanti Deb not yet said anything in this matter, but sources claimed that, the Congress Bhawan here at Kamalpur might change into Trinamool Congress Bhawan in future.In this sub-division, the Congress supporters had long been exploited in the leftist regime. But the recent move of the AICC to join hands with CPI-M to oust Mamata made them to receive a bolt from the blue.

Former and deceased MLA Sunil Dutta last won the Assembly poll in favor of Congress from Kamalpur in 1972 for the third consecutive time. Then he retired from active politics and Kamalpur saw a long success story of former and deceased Health Minister Bimal Sinha upto 1998.

 Then his wife continued her term upto 2008 and then again she started her term as MLA from 2013. In the middle, in 2008 Manoj Kanti Deb won the battle in 2008 after long 36 years. During all those left domination, the condition of the Congress supporters and workers continued to deteriorate. Exploitation and deprivation became the fate of the Congress supporters among the common men. As a result many workers and supporters made bound by hook or by crook to join other parties. 

They could not believe it still as true.

In this context, huge numbers of Congress supporters and workers might join Trinamool Congress after the Assembly Poll of West Bengal.  And it might lead to the change of the Congress Bhavan into Trinamool Congress Bhavan.
