AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): Tripura under the prolonged leadership of CM Manik Sarkar has witnessed heights of under-development in the state where still today the facility of drinking water to basic health service is at stake. The problems does not end s here, the state under the leadership of the CPI-M have become victimised to poor internet connectivity, crippled internet service, embezzlement of funds, MGNREGA scams, rising crime against women by the CPI-M MLA, nil industrial set up and many more and the same party is busy in holding series of meetings with aim making the party more ideologically strong in the state.Where the party has failed in providing basic aid to the people what is the purpose of such ideology based party in the state. It is to be mentioned here that with an aim to make the party more ideological and to finalize the strategy and program of the party taken during the party plenum at Kolkata, CPI-M state committee on Saturday hold a two-day long extended session of Tripura assembly at Nazrul Kalakshetra.

The main focus of the discussion as laid at the plenum where it was discussed how to handle the growth of the party and to link the common mass.

However, the extended session has been conducted to make the principles of the party familiar with the party leaders and the members of the Left Front Party to strengthen the party.

At the party plenum organized at the sprawling Brigade Parade ground on December 27, the party discussed about the ways to attract the youth and female to the party.

Besides, it has been acknowledged that at least 25 percent female should get in to party in 3 years of tenure. Besides, atleast youth of 20 percent youth must be targeted between the 18- 31years of age

Earlier, CPI-M Party Secretary Bijan Dhar stated that the left front party have to emerge as a revolutionary party.

Therefore, with an aim to strengthen the unity of the left front party, the members have to reach the common mass. On the other hand, the party also think about the rising unemployment and the crime against women.

However, the party with a resolution to strengthen and streamline the party facing the current challenges and standing beside the common mass, conducted the two-day long extended session.

Question arises what is purpose of clamouring to make the party so called ideological when the party can’t meet the needs of the state.  The common people have been continuously suffering with basic things including NH44 where the road has collapsed after the state PWD has taken the responsibility, similarly the blocks under the district is hit embezzlement of cores of money. However, the party in its prolonged year of rule could not get an industry in the state and many more.

However, during the session, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Minister for Health & Family Welfare Badal Chowdhury, Minister for Education Tapan Chakraborty, Urban Development Minister Manik Dey and others were present at the programme.
