Kamalpur: KCA lacks basic infrastructure

KAMALPUR, MARCH 11, (TIWN): Cricket turned to be the richest profession at present in the country. Huge endorsements, large match money, lucrative prizes and other facilities turned the game into a den of money-making.

And even, the State Associations not left much behind in this race of earning money. The case became almost same for the Tripura Cricket Association.

And TCA used to provide ample amount of money to its sub-divisional organs in each fiscal. In this context, it remained quite unbelievable that, a sub-divisional association would have no pad for writing and announcing their decisions from time to time.

But the same thing happened in the case of Kamalpur Cricket Association recently. It also became a matter of mystery as why the KCA had to suffer such deplorable plight.

Recently, a contradiction arose here during a match of Senior Division Club Tournament. On 6th March last, the NMAO club left their game with Apanjan Club halfway alleging the umpiring biased.

They also lodged complaint about that matter with KCA. In their reply, KCA found NMAO violating the spirit of the game. The KCA also found NMAO guilty of sledging. And hence on 9th March last, KCA suspended NMAO from the rest of the tournament. However, NMAO also appealed against this decision to TCA.

What remained interesting was that, the KCA served the suspension order in scribes in a plain paper. Now, when very small associations also use their specific pads for any decision, then KCA should use their pad for such an important instruction.

But, according to sources, the KCA had no pad of their own and they continued to serve notices and instructions on the plain papers.

It remained a mystery that, if the TCA not provide enough economical aid for making pad or it remained the negligence from the part of the local authority to make pads. What might be the matter, the deeds remained against the notion of cricket and its discipline and spirit.
