AGARTALA, Feb 29 (TIWN): With the initiatives of the National Book Trust of India, four-day long workshop has been scheduled to be organized on March 1.
In a Press Conference on Monday, it has been mentioned that the inaugural programme has been scheduled to be organized at the Agartala Centre of National Book Trust of India.
During the press Conference, it has been mentioned that the workshop is going focus mainly on the Kokborok language.
It is to be mentioned here that the National Book Trust of India has been established by the Department Of Higher Education, Ministry Of Human Resource Development. However, it was established in the year 1957.
The main objective of the National Book Trust of India is to produce and encourage the good writers and the Indian languages.
Besides, make the good writing available to the people in all necessary steps.
National Book Trust of India plays an important role in promoting books and the habit of reading by organizing book fairs and exhibitions throughout the country since the last five decades.
It has been mentioned here that during the workshop Rabindra Kishore debbarma, Haripad Debbarma, Shephali Debbarma, Chandrakanta Murashing and Manish Bhattacharjee will participate.
Besides, it has been mentioned that from outside the state writer Bhagirath Mishra, Nalini Bera, Anathabandhu Chattapadhaye, Anup Roy and others are going to remain present at the programme.
