AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): Alliance –torn Tripura Congress virtually become rudderless. Party leadership preparing flying to Delhi by this week. While party is taking preparation to discuss their awkwardness and the future course of action with high command, a number of leader started criticizing AICC and praising Trinomul Supremo Mamata Banerjee openly to mount pressure upon Delhi.Leader of opposition and senior congress leader Sudip Royburman blasted AICC ands said Party leaders in Delhi are more interested in personal relations with Sitaram Yechury then strengthening the organization, he remarked in presence of several media persons here. On the contrary he already sent a letter to Sonia by questioning justification of alliance with CPM in west Bengal. After a prolong silence Ex Chief minister and veteran leader of congress Samir Ranjan Barman came out into political spotlight and expressed unhappiness over the alliance with “traitor†CPM. By criticizing CPM he referred the JNU sedition issue and said we had experience of dealing CPM, the Indian leftist in early sixties when they had act as a Chinese supporter within our country. After fifty years they still follows the anti nationalist line, and has been sloganeering for Afjal Guru.
"A bunch of hypocrite led CPM never been a good friend or a natural ally for congress. We are fighting against CPMs misrule for last two and half decades here, the ground reality not in fever of any kind of alliance with them in anywhere, he added".
Meanwhile Tripura leaders tried to express their opinion on alliance in several time but Delhi did not bother and never made any communication on this context.
Now it became an open secret that seven Congress MLA of 60 seated Tripura Legislative Assembly maintaining good understanding and communication with Mukul Roy, Leader of West Bengal Trinomul Congress on regular basis.
Political scenario inside the congress party deteriorated by all means. But interestingly congress remains unchanged in his characteristics.
It shows disunity among them ever it is a worst time for its future. TPCC president Birjit Sinha said they are not in favor of alliance with CPM.
"But “in spite of our unwillingness if AICC stands on tie-up, we have no option to follow the decision “, which contradicts the voice of leader of opposition Sudip Ro Barman.
