AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN) : After the Chachu Bazar rape incident, more 2 rapes accordingly on last Feb 10 & 11 have created turmoil in the state. Reportedly one rape incident has occurred at Begata area at Sabroom & the 2nd one happened at Nalkata under Kumarghat, which have created a peace-less situation in Tripura. The minor girl of Kumarghat had committed suicide, this rumor was spread via media, but everyone knows it was a rape and murder.

One after another ghastly rape incidents in Tripura are coming out.

But there is no tension among the leaders of the state, rather they are busy in their election campaigns and wooing the votes of public.

Neither the Women Commission has any eagerness about the everyday crimes happening in state, nor the CM of Tripura says anything regarding this.

Although Women are sitting on the chairs of govt. departments but they are least bothered about the happenings in the state with fellow women folks.

As a result of women commissions negligence, crime against women are increasing in the state.

A recent facebook-based group 'ফেসবুকবন্ধুরাপ্রতিবাদে'  initiated protest in Agartala after the Chachu Bazar rape case, but these protests couldn't wake up stone hearted Manik administration.

The ruling party  comes on the street against the incidents of other states, but, they have no sympathy for the own state’s victims.

After all the protests, police has not arrested a single person, which is really shameful matter, said one of the FB group members.

FB group demanded the immediate arrest of the rapist, otherwise they will spread protest in the whole state.

Tripura has been publicized as the  ‘Peaceful’ state by CPI-M's few bootlicking senior journalists and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar boasts about his well governed state by hiring thugs and nationally known corrupt officials lke Pricipal Secretary GSG Ayyangar and  IPS officer K.Nagraj.

However, the truth is that the victims and leaders all are silent about the crime rates increasing in the state.

But everyday rapes and murders become a common part of Tripura’s daily life.

Lives seem to have no value at all to Tripura CM who is presently busy with election campaigns, has not yet made any comment over the brutal rape case.

CM is busy with his flight journeys to Delhi to don the mantle of national politics and chopper rides across Tripura as the VC elections nearby.
