AGARTALA, Feb 16 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the ensuing village committee election, political parties are busy with the campaigning.
Reportedly, all the political parties are gearing up with the election campaign with an aim to grab most of the seats in the election.
Door to door campaigning, mass rally and various other initiatives for the upcoming election has been going on.
Reportedly, for this election Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee has only 601 nominees who have placed their nomination. Compare to the number of nominees of TPCC, CPM has 3, 655 candidates in total.
Besides, Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee has not submitted a single nomination paper at Kalyanpur.
It is to be mentioned here that among all the 51 seats in 7 villages of Kalyanpur Congress did not submit any nomination.
When just few days are left for the ensuing village committee election, the failure of village committee election has resulted disappointment among the supporters of the area.
However, several initiatives have been going on in the concern area for the upcoming village committee election.
With just counting days left for the village committee poll which is slated to be held on February 24, candidates are enthusiastically participating door to door campaign with the aim to completely swift in the village committee election this year.
Party is holding meeting in the various interior parts of the state with an aim to grab the seats in the upcoming election.
With an aim to win the upcoming village committee election, the committee is scheduled to visit the interior area of the state along with Ambassa, Amarpur, Salema, Ampi and will discuss about the preparation for the village committee election.
However, with the intentions to cleanly sweep the election, the ruling party has started full-fledged preparation regarding the selection of the candidates and other procedures for conducting the poll is underway.
