Increasing theft cases hits North Tripura

DHARMANAGAR, Feb 15 (TIWN) : Increasing crimes at North Tripura has created turmoil over there, among them theft cases are at a large. Reportedly, on last night a bike bearing number TR 05-6679 has been theft from a household at Nayanpara Dharmanagar.

FIR has been lodged at Dharmanagar police station. The owner has been identified as Ranjit Roy.

According to the sources, on last night at around 2 am when Ranjit Roy went out, he saw everything were in well condition. But in morning 6 am when he was to go out of home to drop his son at school, he found that the lock of the gate was broken.

Immediately, he checked the rooms and found his bike was stolen. The bike was Super Splendor, with black colour.

Resentment has been aroused among the locals after the incident as already Dharmanagar sub-division is suffering from the incidents of various crimes.

It was on the same night that 17 shops have been burnt at a glance. Allegations are coming that a group is involved behind this acts.

Not only Dharmanagar, but the whole North Tripura has become the centre zone for theft & robberies.

But police in every cases are yet “clue-less”.
