AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): In the name of Indo-Bangla relation promotion, Tripura Govt. has invited Bangladeshi artist Hashem Khan in the 34th Book fair inauguration programme on Sunday at Umakanta Academy ground. Artist Hashem Khan gifted 3 books to Manik Sarkar and showered full load of praises to Manik Govt. for “rapid development” of Tripura during his speech at Book fair. Even though Hashem Khan’s knowledge about corruptions under Manik regime or ground reality of peoples poor condition across the state is unknown but wily Manik Sarkar used Bangladeshi Artist to propagate Manik’s so called ‘Golden Era’, not only that Chief Minister shamelessly criticized BJP led Central Govt in front of Bangladeshi guests, which is against protocol of badmouthing own country’s Central Govt in front of foreigners.Hashem Khan mentioned about Bengali sentiments of 21st February, International Mother Language Day etc, but, Manik Sarkar due to his narrow-mindedness did not hesitate to criticize Modi Govt in front of foreign guests in a non-political programme like Book Fair.

CM also blamed BJP Govt. for destroying the "democracy" in the country.

“People are forgetting the real history, and the BJP Govt’s new addition of history is polluting the mind of the students in schools”, CM said during his speech at Agartala Book Fair.

“The condition of the country is in bad shape, which people could not even imagine before 20 months”, said CM continued his lies in front of foreign guests.

Sarkar also questioned upon the present history which are read in every schools of India. “Education would be unbiased, but not based on any Hinduism or any other religion”, said CM.

However, Hashem Khan delivered his speech in general and stressed the history of Indo-Bangla relations.

CM further claimed that India although is called a democratic country, but democracy is getting wiped off from the country. Country based on socialism can not be neutral and thus India is suffering from various crisis as the present govt. is engaged to harm the religious rights of people. “They not only destroying the people’s right, but also creating obstacles for those, who wants to be neutral”.

It’s to be mentioned here that CM went back to the history of Britishers, in the presence of Bnagladeshi artist and expressed his sadness for county’s partition.

But he didn’t missed the opportunity to slam the central govt. although he didn’t say anything about Congress.

As per political analysts, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar yet to learn proper decency about uttering criticism against own country's Govt in front of foreign guests.

The book fair has been kicked off from Feb 14 & continue for 7 days. A total of 73 stalls are set up from Tripura, Kolkata 36, Guwahati six, New Delhi three and one each from Bangladesh and Kerela.
