AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN) : Keeping eyes on the upcoming election, CPM like every elections seems active this time too. Although CPM had won massively in the last Municipal election but there is no sign of lethargy within CPM members.
Rather the opposition parties of Tripura who are “used to” with the massive defeats, yet very slow in election campaigns.
On Monday, huge bike rally was organized by CPM at RS Para under Kalyanpur block which roamed around the whole Kalyanpur. The rally initiated from Bairagi Para School Field.
The villages where CPM’s flag waved at Khowai are : Murabari, Debatabari, Gayamfung, Gagan Chowdhury, Ruparai ADC Village and then gathered at Kalyanpur.
Then the rally started for Kunjaban ADC village. In total 46 kilometer’s bike rally at there. The rally ended at Sarbong Bazar of Kalyanpur CPM’s Divisional Secretary Samir Chakraborty.
However, it’s to be mentioned here that as per the rule, the Electoral Rolls of all 2634 Village Committee constituencies have been prepared by Segregating the Assembly Electoral Rolls now in force in the state.
The total number of electors of all 2634 constituencies as per finally published Electoral Rolls are :
Male : 3,89,292
Female : 3, 79,112
Total : 7,68,404
In Khowai Dist. 69 Nos of VC, 155 Polling Stations are getting set—
The schedule is indicated below :
1. Date of issue of nomination by the SEC : 29th January,2016
2. Last date for making nomination : 5th February, 2016
3. Date for scrutiny nomination : 6th Febuary, 2016
4. Last date of withdrawal of candidature : 8th February, 2016
5. Date on which poll shall be taken : 24th February, 2016
6. Time of Nomination to be filled : From 11 am to 3 pm
7. Date for commencement counting of votes : 27nd February, 2016
8. Date before which election to be completed : 7th March, 2016
