AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN) : After major jolts in various elections held in Tripura, BJP has finally geared up for the upcoming Village Committee Election-2016. To overcome from the failures, recently BJP has also changed their state president and shifted Sudhindra Dasgupta from this post and appointed much younger Biplab Deb. However, on Monday BJP’s campaign was unexpectedly successful as the community hall was filled by party supporters. An eye-catching bike-rally was also arranged by BJP at Dharmanagar. Praising the organizational power of BJP here in Tripura, BJP State observer Sunil Deodhar said that, “I appreciate BJP’s continuous progress in Tripura, and the ruling party CPI-M is already afraid to see BJP’s power”. But questions arises, how far BJP’s new State president will be successful in converting massive rallies into Vote-Banks after the chain of campaigns held at various parts of State including Dharmanagar.

Addressing the mass gathering, Biplab Deb said that as a challenge, he will change the political controls over the state and he also begged public support for this transition. Blaming the opposition party Cong. and the ruling CPI-M govt. Deb said, “They all are nothing but two faces of a same coin”.

After the tremendous failure in earlier elections, now rallies and public meetings across the state are being held by BJP. BJP’s old policy to garner votes of public with the help of outside leaders and celebrities like Rupa Ganguly has been little bit taken backseat this time. This time BJP is more focused to develop the relation with the masses across State.

The Electoral Rolls of all 2634 Village Committee constituencies have been prepared by Segregating the Assembly Electoral Rolls now in force in the state. It’s to be mentioned that in North Dist : 60 Nos of VC, 160 Polling Stations are there. Now it’s to be seen that how much new BJP State President Biplab Deb can put his impact on vote-banks, among all the constituencies.
