AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): Though the Ministerial authority claims to make the State 100 percent literate, it seems like the deplorable condition of the schools in various interior parts of the State hits the education system.

Reportedly, students studying in the schools of various interior parts are facing problem due to the deplorable condition of the school building.

Despite of several tall claims by the ruling Government of spending huge amount of fund for education and to make the state 100 percent literate, but the really seems opposite.

Reportedly, students of Kalyanpur Higher Secondary School were witnessed sitting on the ground to attend classes.

On the other hand, in many schools the students come to acquire their basic need of education but their time passes waiting for the teachers to take their classes.

Our ministers claim that, schools are supposed to be the temples of learning, but the average primary educational institution in rural Tripura has been deprived from proper guidance of the teachers.

As we all know that teachers are the persons who deliver knowledge to the students and also make them learn the basics of the education but the place where there is lack teachers how can the innocent meet their basic needs of education.

True, just having great school infrastructures is not sufficient to improve learning outcomes, but it is certainly a necessary condition.

Along with the lack of teachers the school also facing shortage of basic amenities like chairs, tables are missing from classrooms, now the question arises that where all the money from central fund has been going?

The locals alleged that the poor infrastructure of the school is due to the failure to run intervention programmes.

However, the prolonged deplorable condition of schools and lack of teachers has raised several questions over the allotment of funds to the schools to run.
