AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): On yet another bizarre incident, demanding to provide teachers at Sonamura village Junior Basic School, students along with their guardians locked the school gate on Saturday.
Reportedly, students along with their guardians hanged lock on the gates of the schools on Saturday demanding to appoint teachers for the school.
Despite of several tall claims made by the ministerial bench authority to make the state 100percent literate turns bleak with the deplorable condition of the schools in various interior parts of the state.
According to the reports, it has been found that the education system of Sonamura village Junior Basic School has been running into poor condition due to lack of teachers.
It seems like the elementary education which is the major challenge for the State Government has become a matter of joke.
Though the students come to the school to acquire their basic need of education but their time passes waiting for the teachers to take their classes. There is no point of blaming the teachers as the teachers are helpless.
It is very shocking to know that the whole school is run by only one teacher.
Therefore, the student along with their guardians hanged lock on the school gates and demanded for more teachers.
Our ministers claim that, schools are supposed to be the temples of learning, but the average primary educational institution in rural Tripura has been deprived from proper guidance of the teachers.
As we all know that teachers are the persons who deliver knowledge to the students and also make them learn the basics of the education but the place where there is lack teachers how can the innocent meet their basic needs of education.
However, the guardians alleged that for prolonged many days the guardians are demanding for teachers to the concern authority but till day no initiatives has been taken to settle down the issue.
