Union minister of state for DWS visits Udaipur Tripureshwari temple

AGARTALA/UDAIPUR, Jan 29 (TIWN): Amidst tight security, Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ram Kripal Yadav on Friday on a two day visit to Tripura visited the Udaipur Tripureshwari temple.

Visiting Udaipur, Union minister of state for DWS also offered prayer in the temple.

Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ram Kripal Yadav   was welcomed by Gomoti District DM Sonal Goel and also accompanied him at the premises of the temple along with other dignitaries.

However, after offering prayer in the temple he took a visit around the premises of temple and also visited an interior area under Udaipur Sub-division and took a note of the Drinking Water and Sanitation facility provided in the area.

It is to be mentioned here that Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ram Kripal Yadav has arrived in Agartala on a 2 day visit on Thursday. The Minister after reaching Agartala attended the Retreat ceremony in Akhaura border Check post and also visited the Integrated Check post in Akhaura Border. However he also attended a press meet at Agartala on Friday and expressed satisfaction over the DWS facilities in the state.

Ram Kripal Yadav is a member of the 16th Lok Sabha of India from the Pataliputra parliamentary constituency, Central Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation (India) and aide of Indian politico Lalu Prasad Yadav.

On 8 March 2014 Ramkripal Yadav resigned from his party post. Yadav, who wanted to contest from Pataliputra seat on 12 March he joined BJP and in 2014, he won the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat defeating his niece and Lalu Yadav daughter Misa Bharti​
