Petrol crisis continues in the State : Udaipur reels under crisis

UDAIPUR, Jan 24 (TIWN): Consumers of Udaipur sub-division are yet to get relief from the prolonged petrol crisis. Major fuel crisis has hit the petrol pumps of the Udaipur sub-division due to the prolonged dilapidated condition of the National Highway 44. The petrol crises have hampered the regular movement of vehicles in the sub-division with number of vehicle owners queuing up in the petrol pumps in the area. Where the Udaipur City has only two petrol pumps, among them there is no petrol in one of them and in the other parts of the subdivision is also expected hit with petrol crisis. It seems like to get petrol from any of the petrol pump has become a challenge and a matter of patience as the riders had to wait for prologue many hours.Besides, the situation has leads the black marketing of petrol flourished in the area and the common mass are bound to buy petrol with higher rates. It is to be mentioned here that taking advantage of the situation the petrol dealers of the State were emerging in a new trend to earn more money through black marketing which causes artificial petrol crisis in the State.

The acute diesel as well as petrol crisis created chaos among the state people. Following the crisis in Tripura, movement of vehicles has been collapsed partially. Especially the vehicles move to out of the state is facing difficulties at such situation.

In the beginning the shortage affected heavy vehicles requiring large diesel refill, but has eventually hit the normal commuters as well. As things stand, many trucks are on standby on city outskirts in demand of diesel.

However, few days earlier the capital was also massively hit with petrol crisis ‘No Petrol’ board has been hanging for prolonged three days in various petrol pumps of the capital.

It is to be mentioned here that the crisis of petrol has occurred due to prolonged dilapidated condition of the National Highway 44 and the Lorries were stuck.

Though the situation has been brought under control and the common mass are facilitated with fuel, it seems like the shortage of fuel crisis is yet continuing in the interior parts of the state.

However, the situation has created problem for the people of the area with number of vehicles queued up in front of the petrol pumps for prolonged several hours.
