UDAIPUR, Jan 20 (TIWN): R.K Pur Block Congress Committee on Wednesday place eight charter points of demand to Executive Officer of Nagar Panchayat Nihar Ranjan Das, claiming alleged corruption and groupism in the formation of the committee which is formed after the election.

It has been mentioned that the formation of the committee of ward number 21, the ruling Government has selected only the members of the ruling Government. They also mentioned that even from the area where congress members are selected, from there also the ruling party has selected the CPM members.

Placing the deputation, the members of the committee has demanded that the elected counsellor of the ward number 6, 7 and 8 should be enlisted in the list of the members of the committee.

Besides, they also demanded that during the formation of the committee, representatives from all the party should be present. They further demanded to facilitate the families of the Municipal area with cemented sanitation; the roads should constructed well in the area, to provided rehabilitation to the hawker and vendor and also to facilities to the unemployed.

Besides, they also urged to provide allowance to the poor families who are not enlisted under BPL list.

The deputation was placed in the presence of General Secretary Ratan Debnath, Tapas Majumder, Bhramar Som, Anjan Biswas, Rajeev Ghosh and others.
