AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar where calls himself the so called poor Chief Minister of the State, on the other hand he takes chopper ride to attend the inaugural function of two schools at Santir Bazaar on Saturday. Reportedly, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Saturday took chopper ride for only 90 kilometres of distance to attend an inaugural programme at Santirbazaar. Due to deplorable condition of the road and traffic congestion where the common mass of the state faces hue and cry, so called claimed poor CM of Tripura take chopper ride to avoid the congestion. It is to be mentioned here that the Left rule Government keeps on blaming that the Central has deducted the fund for the state and therefore the Government lacks in the developmental work. Besides, several demands have been raised to the Central Government by the State Government to provide fund to the State. And the so-called poor Chief Minister takes chopper ride for just 90 kilometre distance that too for an inaugural programme. On one hand where the state’s public is facing prolonged harassment due to poor health service, deplorable condition of NH44, on the other hand, the claimed poor CM of the State visits the interior part of the State through helicopter, not to take notice of the people but to attend the inaugural and to brain wash. Now the question arises if the State Government is so poor and do not have much fund to develop the State than from where do the huge amount for the helicopter ride comes.

The awful situation of the State does not end here; under the 22 years of Manik’s regime many educated youths remains unemployed, knocking every door for a job but end up driving an auto rickshaw or working outside the state.

However, it’s to be mentioned here that CPM is wasting the ‘public money’ and ‘scam earned cash’ in the name of election campaign like water. To boast themselves as on the top of the hierarchy, CPM is busy to arrange hi-funda programmes. It is also another measure to show how strong the grip of left front in the state is.

Despite of several drawbacks in the State, Chief Minister Sarkar claims Tripura is developing. Criticizing the Central, he also said that no other party is working for the State only the Left Front is thinking about the development of the State.

However, where the state is facing several problems like acute scarcity of water, deplorable condition of roads and hospitals, CM Manik is busy in taking chopper ride for just 90 kilometres to attend an inaugural programme at Santirbazaar. Yet against continues to blame central of deducting the allotted fund to the state.

Question arises from where do the so called claimed poor ruling Government gets the money for chopper ride.
