Question arises why the aviation companies are charging do high when the once the range of the ticket use to loiter between Rs. 1, 500 to Rs. 2, 000.
As the train service is suspended till the work of the Broad Gauge conversion gets over, most of the people have to opt for air way as there are no other option accept by road.
However, very less people opt for by road option as it takes long time to reach Kolkata and many are not comfortable to go for the journey by seating.
On the other hand, if any patients of middle class families were referred for the treatment outside the state the families are massively hit with the hike in air ticket range. Most of the time, the range goes out of the budget for the common people.
Besides, for the middle class families it’s hard to book nine seats for the stretcher in the Air India flight.
When the Railway service s suspended for the BG conversion work and the National Highway is in deplorable condition people in the state are facing problem to travel outside the state.
Though the willing people can use the by-road to go to Kolkata but problems arise with the people who are ill and some who do not have passports.
Allegedly, Aviation companies are taking advantage of the number of aviation facility in the State. As people have only few options to opt for nay low range flights.
Reportedly, many aviation companies are willing to set their business in the State which could have decreases the range of Air Tickets.
However, the Despite of price hike in the Air Tickets the state government and the Airport Authority are playing role of silent spectators.
