SANTIRBAZAR, Dec 29 (TIWN): Pilak Archaeological site’s developmental works are lacking behind. Earlier a delegation team of Tripura Legislative Assembly went on a spot study tour of Pilak sites on Oct 14, 2015 .They have sent few observations in their tour report for the overall development of pilak site.
The observation/suggestions are as follows:
- Need early further excavation works at Pilak site to unearth more hidden structures/ ancient remains from these regions which may be throw some new light on the history and culture of this state.
- Need for fast completion of the process of land acquisition at the pilak site for undertaking development works at the site.
- All the land related disputes of this site need to be resolved soon for demarcation of 100 meter area encircling the site spot for undertaking other development works.
- Need for erecting Welcome Gates and signage on the main roads/approach roads of the pillak site.
Earlier many initiatives were taken to nurse Pilak Tourist spot but at such the people of the state experienced the ultimate result is zero. Therefore people of Pilak demand to restore its past glory to attract more Tourists to visit pilak frequently.
