AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Due to some unavoidable circumstances, Tripura Board of secondary education (TBSE) has made some minor changes in the date sheet of the final examination of the higher secondary, Madrasa Fazil arts and Madrasa Fazil theology.

It is to be mentioned here that the TBSE has made changes in the date sheet of the Arabic examination for the candidates who are appearing higher secondary, Madrasa Fazil arts and Madrasa Fazil theology.

The Arabic language examination which was scheduled to be held on March 26 2016 will be now held on April 9, 2016.  The rest of the papers will be conducted on the same dates.

This change was made due to some unavoidable circumstances.

Every year large numbers of students appear for the examination for both class 10th and 12th.Tripura board of secondary education was established in 1973, under the act known as Tripura board of secondary education act, 1973 as passed by Tripura legislative assembly. The board started its functioning from 1st of January 1976.

The board is responsible for framing rules and regulations required to run the university board, syllabus or curriculum and other necessary guidelines that are responsible for smooth and active conduct of the business board. Before all these moves, the high and higher secondary schools of Tripura came under the West Bengal board of education. This affiliation under the West Bengal board did not result in providing education to the entire lot. Soon after the setting up of Tripura board, examinations were conducted under the same. After the affiliation, the board of education decided to adopt the syllabus of central board of education for Tripura Board Madhyamik and higher secondary examinations.

Like every year TBSE examination for the year 2016 will begin from March 3rd and will end by the first week of April. However, the practical examination will be conducted in the month of January.
