KAMALPUR, Dec 29 (TIWN): The newly elected board of Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat planned of a cleaner Kamalpur. And according to this plan initial works got started as metal bins had been brought.
The cleanliness and planned development remained great problems for the town. This issue remained much into debate since a long time. Each time, the new board assured of plans and programs. But it resulted nothing at all. This time also, just after the victory, the CPI-M Sub-divisional Secretary Anjan Das told TIWN that, the better service and more developed urbanization would be among their aims. And the matter seemed to show some results. The Nagar Panchayat had brought some metal bins to set at different parts of the town for garbage management.
While asked, the Chairman Subrata Bhattacharjee told TIWN, this morning that, in total 34 bins would be brought. He further added that, those bins would be set after selecting the spots in the meeting. He assured that, the setting up of bins for management of waste would be implanted soon. Now, if the inhabitants would get a cleaner town or not, remained the matter to be seen.
