AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): Day after day the murder cases are rising in an alarming rate in the state but it is seen that after year of the incidents, loopholes in the police investigation is yet failure in cracking the sensational murder cases.On the one hand, helpless families keep crying for justice but the Tripura Police has come up failing to crack a single sensational murder cases which took place here in the capital city. The Triple murder case at Ganadoot office, Kalpana Das murder case, Pritam murder case have got no further development yet today with the police in the name of investigation had almost washed their hand from those and has failed to provide justice to the victim’s family members.What makes DGP to sit in police headquarter and what made police to play inactive role in the murder cases? Why always police fails to crack the murder case of the state.It appears no matter how the police investigation goes on but the family members of the victims on every sensational murder cases still crying for justice and has got no help from the police so far.

 Every incident takes place the senior police officers rushed to the spot leaving no stone unturned but what happens next?

The family members claim, “We do not have any hope on Tripura Police because in the name of investigation the police simply plays a game and arrest people but never tried to crack the cases and unearth the real entity.”

The story ends up and police say, “Investigation is going on” and it still goes on. The current status of the police investigation is proved to be good for nothing. Why not as the HC had recently slammed the police and unearthed every loopholes of the police investigation.

Tripura Police Dept failing in cinvicting criminals due to weak investigation and poor chargesheets under scam tainted DGP Nagraj. CBI Filed chargesheet against IPS officer .Nagraj Kasinadhuni on March 29, 2007 for  amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Prior to that CBI had registered the disproportionate assets case against him in 2005, filed  FIR. CBI on March 29,2007 charge-sheeted Mr. K. Nagraj for possessing assets 500 times more than his known source of income.

Nagraj, an IPS officer of the 1983 batch of the Manipur-Tripura cadre, was charge-sheeted along with his father and brother in the court of the Special Judge, Hyderabad, for possessing assets in his own name as well as in the names of his family members. Investigations by CBI revealed that during 1978 to 1997, the officer had acquired assets and incurred expenditure to the tune of Rs 83.42 lakh against an income of Rs 13.24 lakh from all his known sources of income.

“The officer was found to have possessed disproportionate assets to the tune of over Rs 70 lakh during the period that is to the tune of more than 500 per cent compared to the known sources of income,” said G Mohanty, spokesperson of CBI in 2007.  CBI case against Nagraj is still in motion even though so called ‘clean’ Chief Minister decided to hand over Tripura Police Department to one of the most corrupt IPS officer in country.

The much sensation Ganadoot murder case remains unsolved the prime accused found acquitted by HC. The much sensational murder case is yet to be solved but it is seen that police arrested everyone of santa family in the name of investigation but till date police could not track any culprit behind the incident.
