AMARPUR, Dec 14 (TIWN): BJP gives deputation to Amarpur Police Station for early arrest of MLA Manoranjan Acherjee as CPI-M has kicked off its one MLA of Amarpur Assembly segment Manoranjan Acharjee on charge of moral error.

Although the CPI-M party claims that they have taken prompt action against the CPI-M MLA Manoranjan Acharjee for his gruesome activity but question irks why was the party silent till December 11 when the issue was reported to the party office on November 27. Earlier talking to TIWN correspondent, CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar said that the party was investigating the allegations raised against him and as soon as they found the allegations true, the party expelled him. However, question irks why was the party silent until the election, why was it kept hidden from the people and was suddenly brought into notice just after the completion of the election.

Question arises why the party silent till the election was and did not lodged any police complaint against the accused? It is to be mentioned here that although the party has expelled him but no police complaint is lodged against him and letting him move free in the state. The gruesome incident took place on Nov 27 and intentionally the ruling party's big heads hush up the matter and remained silent on the issue. CPI-M legislator Manoranjan Acharjee had immediately resigned from the Tripura Assembly after the party expelled him on charges of wrong doing.

Whereas CPI-M state secretary  Bijan Dhar claims 'earliest possible action' has been taken against Acharjee after receiving the allegation but the hidden truth is that the party has carried out their action keeping their good name alive and did not lodged any police complaint against him.

Dhar further said that the party has taken the best possible action and about complaints it will be handled by the family members of the victim.

Refusing the delay in the process of the punishment process Dhar further said that the party receive complaint on December and action was instantly taken within three days.  Whereas the sources claimed that the incident took place on November 27 and the party intentionally hushed up the matter until the election period to secure the vote bank of the party in the state.

However, what difference does it makes to ex-MLA Manoranjan Acharjee for his gruesome activity if no action is taken against him as per the law.  Is the expel of MLA is just a mind game to save him from the punishment of law, question
