KALYANPUR, Dec 13 (TIWN): Kalyanpur Police yet to arrest the culprit accused of stealing thousands of money from the donation box of the Loknath temple of Teliamura near Khowai road.

Reportedly, the miscreants have stolen the donation box holding above thousands of cash on Saturday early morning.

It is to be mentioned here that the temple is near the Kalyanpur Police Station. Despite the temple is near to the police station the miscreants have managed to flee with thousands of money from the box.

However, the Ashram Committee has informed about the incident to the Kalyanpur police. It is to be mentioned here that after 24-hour also the police could not managed to arrest the miscreant.

Tension gripped among the locals of the area after the incident. According to the police sources, investigation is going on.

However, the locals demanded for immediate action against the miscreants so that no theft incident repeats in the area.
