KALYANPUR, Dec 12 (TIWN): In a major boost to the party, Left Front Party on Saturday scored a landslide victory in the Teliamura Municipal Council bagging 15 of the 15 wards of Teliamura.

Reportedly, for prolonged 15-year Congress has been ruling at the ward number- 5 but with the end of the counting Left Front has swept all the 15 wards of Teliamura Municipal Council election.  

Reportedly, Left Front wins by 7463 votes in the Teliamura Municipal Council election.

The victory of Left Front in Teliamura has faced serious allegation just before the election date. Where the opposition has raised allegation that the Left Front Party supporters has instigated attack over the Congress candidates.

However, the counting has begun from morning 7am and till 9 am Left Front had wins in seven wards. Besides, by 10 am Left Front has won all the 15 wards of the Teliamura Municipal Council.

There are about 5.24 lakh voters whose votes have decided the fate of 886 candidates across 657 polling booths. There was no report of any violence during the polling period and the vote was conducted peacefully in the state.

It is to be mentioned here that the Left Front Party has sweeps the Agartala Municipal Corporation Election 2015 winning 45 seats out of 49.
