AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Controversy has been aroused with CPI-M’s sudden suspension of MLA Manoranjan Acharjee. According to BJP state president Sudhindra, “This lady molestation incident took long back, so why after the election left front party took action against him?” Party could have taken action against him earlier also, said Sudhindra.Sudhindra alleged that CPI-M’s main plan was to save Manoranjan Acharjee but as this matter could not be kept hidden anymore, so CPI-M decided to show their 'cunning plan' by kicking him from the party, although it was just for public show for temporary time. After public forgets then corrupt Manik Sarkar led CPI-M will bring back Manoranjan again.Sudhindra Dasgupta also mentioned that earlier CPI-M saved many criminals alike Manoranjan; as Bhudev Bhattacharjee, Bishnu Datta and Ananta Pal. He also said that all of them were involved in similar crime and the one of them namely Ananta Pal was once bound to marry his maid servant due to pressure given by the public, as he seduced and raped her.“For CPI-M MLAs or party leaders such crimes are nothing new, its part of their daily activity”, said Sudhindra. "Sudhindra also said, “CPI-M is sheltering all the corrupt & characterless people which needs to be wiped off but corrupt Chief Minister Manik Sarkar patronizing and abetting in corruptions Statewide."

However, he also added, 'At last as CPI-M could not hide Manoranjan Acharjee due to public pressure, so keeping in view the coming elections they suddenly took this decision and Acharjee also resigned from his MLA post'. “But why CPI-M did this after the election?”, said Sudhindra.Sudhindra also mentioned about the role of police which is helping to suppress the crimes held in the society in Left front regime. 

He also pointed out the case of Sushil Choudhury and role of police to save Sushil Choudhury from punishment by filing weak charsheet; same was done by Tripura Police to save Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's aide MGNREGA scamster Bimal Chakraborty as Police couldn’t file any chargesheet in 6 months which caused Bimal's exit from prison.
