AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Addressing the press meet on Friday at party office, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar and central committee member Gautam Das criticized the troublesome activities and increasing attack over the Party members and supporter CPI (M) by the unruly IPFT supporters mostly.
Central committee member Gautam Das said that the local CPI-M office had been attacked by a large group of unruly IPFT workers. Besides, he also mentioned that the unruly IPFT worker has also assaulted local party leaders and workers in the name of canvassing support for their December 16 'Hill Bandh' at Baghmara area of Sabroom subdivision on December 9.
Criticizing the shameful activity of the IPFT workers, Dhar said that the IPFT workers had ransacked the party office and injured party leaders and workers. He added that this crucial matter along with few others was also discussed in the two day meeting of the CPI (M) state committee which ended on Friday evening. The state committee has also urged upon all party units to prepare for the upcoming Village Committee elections in ADC areas slated to be held in February 2016.
Speaking on the issue of the issue of expel of MLA Manoranjan Acharjee said that top most leaders have investigated the matter and true action is taken and proper justice is given to the victim.
However, apart from this the meeting also discussed on the issue of the proposals which are to be finalize for submitting to the party’s five day plenum between December 27-31 which is scheduled to be held in Calcutta. However, the proposals will also be sent to the central committee latest by December 15 to discuss in the party plenum.
