Civic Poll 2015: BJP expressed hope for victory, State President talks to TIWN

AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): Expressing hope over winning the civic poll, BJP State President Sudhindra Dasgupta said the party is determined that this year they will win the election.

With an end of the Civic poll State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Sudhindra Dasgupta expressed high hopes over winning the civic poll of 2015. Besides, he said that BJP state party id determined that BJP will lead at Kumarghat and Dharmanagr surely.

Talking to TIWN Correspondent, BJP State President said that in all these year he never came across any peaceful election.

Detailing about the poll he said that till morning 9am everything was fine but later poll jam has been observed in various wards allegedly created by the CPI-M cadres.

Mentioning about the wards, Dasgupta further said that ward number- 14, 44, 45, 18 and pratapgarh -has been witnessed poll jam.

Blaming the CPI-M cadres, Dasgupta further said that creating problem in the election tenure and threatening the common people for voting the left front, the cadres are ruining the democratic rights of the people.

Criticising the cadres, he also said that the hooligans did not even left the polling personnel. They threatened the polling personnel not to visit the polling stations.

Expressing resentment over the activity of the CPI-M cadres, BJP State President further mentioned that the BJP candidates of Amarpur, Khowai and Jiraniya could not file nomination for the civic poll due to the threatening of the CPI-M cadres.

However, Dasgupta also mentioned that on ward number 18 the CPI-M cadre has destroyed the flags and festoon of the BJP. Besides, the ruling party is intentionally doing this to spoil the party festoon and to create terror among the common people and the party candidates, alleged BJP State President.
