AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): The BJP on Wednesday released its manifesto focusing on improving the state’s economy and infrastructure, ending policy paralysis and curbing corruption.
Contentious issues like providing late night bus service, to bring Agartala as the smart city on time, proper water sewage system, underground laying of electric and telephone lines, to develop Agartala as green city, developed parking facility, scientific construction of Marketing complex, construction of new park and renovation of the existing parks, along with 26 promises have been included in the manifesto with the party making promises on them, BJP on Wednesday released the election manifesto.
The 26 point document, released among others by its Party president Sudindra das Gupta at the party headquarters here, also pledged to provide good governance and inclusive development.
Releasing the manifesto BJP president said that the party is concerned about the development of the state soon.
The manifesto gives high priority to revival of growth and development of the state.
Besides assuring potable water ‘both in quantity and quality’, the manifesto said in the interim, a developed parking zone will also be developed to ease the traffic movement.
However, the Municipal election will held on December 9 and the counting will be conducted on December 12.
