AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): Looking forward to complete the flyover construction in the given deadline, the work is progressing in full swing. The constriction work is progressing in full swing, and the work progress shows that the construction will be completed in the given deadline. It is to be mentioned here that as the work is progressing towards Bordowali and it is messing up the traffic movement mostly during the office hours every day. Drilling for the construction of pillar is going on in full swing as it is necessary to set up the pillars. Heavy machines are catered from outside the state to carry out the construction works. Reportedly, mud leveling machines are also used for leveling the mud as according to the blueprint two pillars will be build at the two ends of the Howrah bridge. However, the agency is carrying out day and night work at the spots including at Battala, Bordowali, and Fire brigade Chowmuhani to meet the deadline and to finish the work in the given time.It is the first flyover of the state connecting fire brigade to Battala. The flyover will ease traffic movement to a great extent.

Traffic congestion has now become regular scenario. With the on-going pillaring work expanded at the busiest spot of Nagerjala the issue of traffic congestions came into public eye with the regular massive traffic jam from Bordowali-Battala road, disrupting the convenient movement of traffic on the road during office and school hours. Through traffic managers are being deployed on the streets but no relief from the traffic jam.

Considering the construction of fly-over work which undergoes in full-swing at Battala-Bordowali area, and further coupled with limited road infrastructure and paucity of parking space, has been playing havoc with the traffic management in the city on Monday morning. For the travelers it is a Herculean task to cross the junction over the Howrah Bridge particularly during the peak hours due to gigantic traffic jam.

Vehicles were seen moving in disorganized manner amidst of messy traffic.  The route from Battala-Bordowali area simply turned smoky with the continuous release of smoke from the vehicles which were witnessed gripped in the middle of traffic jam.

With the beginning of the construction work of the fly-over work at Battala which is now extended to Bordowali, the chaos of traffic congestion has become a regular course.
