AGARTALA, October 7 (TIWN): A Science Seminar on experiment with light has been organized at Nazrul Kalakshetra on Wednesday.

The programme has been inaugurated by Deputy Mayor Samar Chakraborty in the presence of Chemistry Professor of Kolkata University Shyamal Chakraborty, Delhi NCERT Professor Dr. Gagan Gupta.

The science seminar is one of the several activities motivates the students and gets them thinking in a scientific manner with an aim of generating intellectual and creative future in the society. The objective of the science seminar is to inculcate a spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking in the minds of young students.

While addressing the students, Deputy Mayor Samar Chakraborty said that without science it has been not possible for any human being to lead a comfortable life. Besides, initiatives must be taken to utilize the model made by the students so that they get more encouragement and gear up for something more innovative.

However, other dignitaries have urged the teachers to make the science classes more enthusiastic and interesting for the students so that they participate in the classes.

During the programme, Delhi NCERT Professor Dr. Gagan Gupta described the participants about the science of lights and its experiments.
