AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the ensuing Panchayat Bi-election, altogether 54 polling stations has been finally declared for all the 27 seats, confirmed an official here on Tuesday.
Reportedly, a total of 23 polling stations have been declared for the seat number 12 of Dukli Block under West Tripura District Council. Besides, six polling stations have been declared for the seat number 7 of Bamutia Panchayat Samiti.
A part from all this, all the 25 Gram Panchayat has been declared with one polling station each. The 25 Gram Panchayat includes 4 no. ward Choumuhani Bazaar Gram Panchayat under Dukli Block, ward no. 10 of Kobra Khamar Gram Panchayat and ward no. 2 of Harijoy Choudhuri Gram Panchayat under Jirania Block. Besides, ward no. 7 of Bridhonagar Gram Panchayat and 4 no. ward of East Champamura Gram Panchayat under Old Agartala Block.
Under Bishalgarh Block Kamalashagarh Gram Panchayat ward no 10, Pathalia Gram Panchayat ward no. 8, Krishna Kishore Nagar Gram Panchayat ward no. 1 and Bisramganj Gram Panchayat ward no. 11 under Charilam Block are among the Gram Panchayat which has been declared with one polling station each.
Besides, ward no. 7 of North Maheshpur Gram Panchayat under Kathalia Block, ward no. 1 of Mohanbhog Gram Panchayat under Mohanbhog Block, ward no. 6 of West Dhalak Gram Panchayat under Amarpur Block, Ward no. 9 of Madhab Nagar Gram Panchayat under Poyangbari Block, ward no. 9 of Brajendra Nagar Gram Panchayat under Saatchand Block, ward no. 2 of Brakhacherra Gram Panchayat under Teliamura Block, Madha Kanchanpur Gram Panchayat ward no. 10, ward no. 9 of Magruli Gram Panchayat under Gournagar Block, ward no. 4 of Tilagau Gram Panchayat and ward no. 2 of Murticherra Gram Panchayat under Chandrapur Block.
However, ward no. 6 and 9 of Chantail Gram Panchayat, 5 no. ward of Gokulnagar Gram Panchayat under Kumarghat Block, ward no. 5 of West Mashouli Gram Panchayat, ward no. 10 of Brajendranagar Gram Panchayat under Kadamtala Blick and ward no 12 of Pratekrai Gram Panchayat under Kalacherra Block also comes under the 25 Gram Panchayat where one polling station each has been finalised.
