AGARTALA, September 25 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the Triennial General Conference of State Bank of India Officers Association, Tripura region scheduled to be organized on September 27, a Health Check-up Camp for the pensioners has been organized on Friday at SBI, Personal Banking Branch, near Jagannath Bari.
Addressing at the inaugural programme, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr. Prafullajit Sinha expressed delight over the initiatives taken by the bank for the pensioners.
Appreciating the effort, Dr. Sinha mentioned that this kind of initiatives will help the pensioners of the concern bank to stay connected with the organization even after receiving farewell.
Besides, the Yoga Camp and the Health Check-up camp will be helpful to keep them healthy and to meet their ex-co-workers, said AMC Mayor.
Mayor Dr. Sinha further urged to continue this kind of initiatives so that the pensioners could always remain connected with their concern organization. Therefore, it will bring happiness in their mind and also urged the organization to extend helping hand.
During the programme, DM (West) Dr. Milindh Ramteke and Dr. Pradip Bhowmik were present. To mark the special occasion the State Bank of India Officers Association of Tripura Region, three-day long programme has been scheduled.
A Yoga Camp and a Health Check-up Camp for the pensioners of the organization has been organized on Friday. However, a Yoga Camp and Cultural Programme are expected to be organized at Muktadhara Auditorium on September 26. During the programme, AMC Councillor Phulan Bhattacharjee is expected to remain present.
Besides, a blood donation camp and a conference have been scheduled to organize on September 27 at Agartala Press Club. During the programme,
Minister of Finance Bhanulal Saha and MLA Ratan Das are expected to remain present.
