AGARTALA, September 11 (TIWN):The condition of police inspector Sameer Ray, member of Chit Fund Special Investigation Team (SIT) is reported to be out of danger. But he will take time for complete recovery, according to medical officers. From last Sunday, the police officer was undergoing treatment in ICU of GB hospital .
It is mentionable here that on August 20 last a team of SIT head by Sameer Ray went Kolkata to investigate about Rose Valley, that have duped hundreds of crores to thousands of investors of the state.For last fourteen days they were staying at Kolkata. Whom they have met, where have they gone, Which officials of Rose Valley was questioned are is mysteriously kept secret by police headquarter. The SIT team would have remained for some more days of the team leader did not become ill suddenly.
What happened that the police inspector felt ill suddenly? How did he receive the black marks on his entire body? Was he poisoned? Police department is mute about the incident. Even the hospital authority was directed not discuss anything about the police inspector. They are saying he is suffering from pancreatic, beyond that nothing can be told.
The condition of Sameer Ray once became so serious that the doctors of GBP hospital suggested for shifting him to ILS hospital .But senior police officer reportedly down played the suggestion.The hospital authority was told to bring specialised doctors for treatment. Under any circumstance Sameer Ray can be shifted out of school.
Whatever information collected from police sources it was informed that as per government norms rooms were booked for them at Tripura Bhavan. Each team member was e allotted Rs 360 for food and lodging. Transportation fee to be paid through Tripura Bhavan.But the team members stayed at hotels. Reports says Sameer Ray and another member SIT attended a tea party arranged by Bijoy Kilkdar, a senior official of Rose Valley.
