KAMALPUR, SEPTEMBER 10, (TIWN): As a part of All India Dabi Divas (the day to fulfil demands) the four leftist students and youth wings namely SFI, TSU, DYFI and TYF would organize a mammoth students and youth meeting at the Kamalpur Town Hall on 15th September next. As a part of this program the organizations held a press meet at Kamalpur Press Club on Thursday.
In the meet, the leaders clarified that; they would hit the roads with the demands of ‘work for all’ and ‘food for all’. Besides, they would also put forward nine demands keeping in the view the present scenario of Kamalpur. Early opening of border haat and border trade, up gradation of Kamalpur-Ambassa road into double lane, setting up of a women police station here, up gradation of Kamalpur-Agartala road via Khowai and beginning of functioning of the airport remained a few worth mentioning. Besides, the leader further demanded that, on that meeting at least 7, 000 students and youths would take part.
SFI leader Subir Deb, DYFI leader Tapas Sinha, Manabendra Deb and Pradip Ghosh, TYF leader Amalendu Debbabrma were present among others in the meet.
