AGARTALA, September 8 (TIWN): The ever puffed Tripura Police of Golden Era failing to crack the sensational murder case of Santa Saha, finally after a span of 23 days the case is now handed over to CID,states CID branch. Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Tuesday visited the house of Santa Saha in search of clues to crack the mystery behind the murder of 50 years old Santa Saha in her own residence at Shyamali Bazaar quarter complex on August 17.

It’s already 23 days and there is no clue about the miscreants who carried out this heinous crime in the broad day light in the safe zone of the city at Shyamali Bazar quarter complex on Monday.
The disappointing status of the murder case shows the failure of the police in nabbing the accused behind the crime. Reportedly, CID on Tuesday went to the Santa Saha house in search of clues.
Resentment brewed up after a gang of miscreants on August 17 morning brutally murdered a 50 year old house wife in her own residence at Shyamali Bazaar quarter complex area. All the family members of the  deceased were out of the house.
The incident took place when she was alone at her home, the miscreants thronged into her room and murdered he with sharp weapons. The miscreants attacked her brutally with a sharp weapon and left her dead on the spot.
However, multiple injuries of sharp weapon were found in her body. 

Besides, the dead body was left in her own house. Getting alarm, the police of NCC police station reached the spot with dog squad and forensic team and started investigation and even after
17 days police is further investigating the case.
Failing to crack the sensational murder case of Santa Saha, the police department has finally decided to set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to crack the murder case.
