Kamalpur: Moutushi murder case: Police failed to unearth murder weapon and other facts from the remanded Jhintu

KAMALPUR, August 22 (TIWN): Moutushi Debbarma murder case and its investigation failed to bore any significant result although the prime accused got arrested and sent to police custody for five days. Jhintu remained numbed up about disclosing any fact related to the brutal murder of Moutushi.

As a result the police failed to recover the murder weapon yet. The participation of other possible persons as well as how the killing completed also remained into darkness. Although the circumstantial evidences like the long-drawn illegal affair with Moutushi, his blood stained TR-01-V-0618 Aster vehicle, recovery of Moutushi’s cell phone from Jhintu turned him main accused. Still Salema police failed to unearth any important fact from him.

It is noteworthy that, on 18th August dawn, Moutushi Debbarma (27) of Bhatkhauri area found dead at her parental residence where she lived for last one year. Then in primary investigation her extra-marital affairs unearthed. Advancing on this point police nabbed one Jhintu Debbarma of Khowai from his in-law’s house on 19th August and produced him to the SDJM Court on 20th August. The court sent Jhintu to five days’ police custody.
