AGARTALA, August 20 (TIWN): Finally the Tripura High Court (HC) is all set to give its final judgement on private tuition by the school teachers which have rocked the entire state following the notification of the state government. The Students’ Guardian Forum on Thursdaydemanded the Tripura High Court to legalise the private tuition by the government teachers for at least three years in view of better future of the student.

According to the official sources the government and the non government schools had already issued a issued a notification to the institutions to stop private practises. Besides, the guardians and the students had demanded to legalize the same in view of poor teachings in the schools.

Talking to TIWN on Wednesday in this regard a senior advocate said that the HC is likely to legalise the private tuition practises only for class 10, 11, and 12 and that too on several grounds for atleast 3 to 4 years.

He however pointed out that the court also might direct the state government and the school authorities to improve the education infrastructures in the state so that the students are not made bound to rush to the private tutors in future.

He said so far it can be assumed that the HC in its judgement on August 20 may ban the private practises by the class teachers and the subject teachers.

It is to be mentioned here that the students and the guardians forum is  in opinion that lack of quality teachers in the government schools across the state had ruined the education system and had left the students move daily to the private tutors.

They earlier demanded the HC that in view of the interest of the students the private tuition is required for class 10, class 11 and class 12 standard students for at least three years.

They also claimed that the sudden ban on the private tuition would hamper the future of the students as they are already under process preparing for the board examination and the dependence on private tutors has come up important for the students.
