UDAIPUR, August 20 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, Kakrabon Police on Wednesday arrested Sankar Das after his wife was found hanging at her in-laws house, a complaint has been registered against him saying he has killed his wife Kajal Das by her family members.

OC Jatindra Das said that on August 20 they will produce Sankar in front of the court for further interrogation. He further said that if required they will arrest the mother-in-law and brother-in-law.

Sankar Das, who was the husband of Kajal Das, is professionally a labourer in a grill factory and a resident of Jamjari Ganjira Area under Kakrabon Police station.

Kajal Das was daughter of Subal Das who was a daily labourer, who is the resident of Harijala Area.

Expressing grief over the situation, the agitated family members of the deceased Kajal Das said that today morning they got a call from the Kajal’s in-laws they she is no more.

When they reached at the spot they found her hanging to the ceiling but to their doubt there were no such objects nearby with which support Kajal could reach the ceiling and manage to hang her.

This situation forced them to suspect that she has not committed suicide but she was murdered.

They further enhanced that some family dispute was going on the family of Kajal’s in-laws on the issue that after 2-year of marriage, Kajal and her husband was not conceiving any baby.

As for which the family members were creating problem for the deceased.

However, police will forward the accused husband to court on August 20. The deceased has been taken to the Kakrabon Hospital for post-mortem.
